Yes, another lighthouse
You may be getting tired of my Newfoundland Lighthouses, but there are 37 lighthouses around the island and I had to take a few photos here and there.

There are two lighthouses at Cape Spear, this one is the newer of the two and operational. Cape Spear is the most easterly point in North America on the island of Newfoundland. Taken at sunrise.

Canon 20D 28-75mm Lens @75mm
ISO 100 1/6s @ f5.6 Manual Exposure Mode

Some doging and burning was done to lighten some shadows, darken some shadows and bring out some highlights. Also some color correction.

Can't get tired of these great shots. Love the colors and the
comp. It must be a little disorienting to shot sunrises of the ocean and not sunsets. At least for the first day or two. :jump: :jump:

Nice nice work. Beautiful balance &c. Is it true that there are red sandstone cliffs right on the ocean in NF?

There are some pretty spectacular cliffs of many different colors around the island. There are some red cliffs that I saw from the air but did not get to. I don't know if they are sandstone or not, but I can easily find out my asking my father-in-law. The entire island has a wonderful variety of coastline. I didn't even scratch the surface on that.
