Falling Waters Trail - NENP Meeting
Thanks to Jim for putting together another great NENP meeting. It was nice shooting with everyone, and putting faces to all the posts!
Turned out that nice breakfast place didn't open at 5AM today afterall! So Michelle and I headed to North Woodstock for a bite to eat, then hit the Falling Waters Trail in Franconia Notch. We spend about 2 1/2 hours working our way up to the second waterfall before the rains had us heading back to the car.

This is a shot of Walker Cascade. It was pretty windy, so it was hard to keep those leaves still with the long exposures.

Nice shot! I like the choice of vertical. Wish I had made it this weekend. Can anyone say winter meeting?

Rich,

I guess I now have my answer on where you guys got caught in the rain. Looks like your shot is a bit down stream from where Michelle was. Good exposure and "cotton candy", and I like the leaves on the rock in the mid ground.Nick shot!

I'm not usually a fan of REALLY long water shots, but this works well. Love it! :jump:
