NENP fall meeting - Falling Waters Trail
Here is one of my shots from the Falling Waters Trail in Franconia.
Thanks Jim for all the work on this meeting!

Michelle....

Good job with the blur! The water looks great! My only nit is with the logs dead center in the frame. They seem a bit distracting to me.

It sounds as if everyone had a great time this weekend!

Michelle,

Nice shot. I am a bit of a contrarian on distractions for images like this. The log does not bother me because that is what you usually find in the streams in New England. Love the colors and nice exposure on this shot. As Robert says you were making "cotton candy". Hope you guys made down the trail beofre the hard rain started!

Nick, the logs are pretty close to center, but I didnt't want to give up any of the color above them in a crop!

Jim, this is the first area we came to. We made it in to two larger falls and got all the way back to the parking lot before the heavy rain hit.

The log doesn't bother me either, great water treatment, great shot!

Now that I take a second look...the logs don't bother me either. It's amazing how things look a second time around.

Michelle

Wonderfull photo. Rainy weather may not be the most fun to hike and take photos in but it is perfect for waterfalls and streams. Rainy weather plus water equals cotton candy, life is good.

Michelle,

Very good shot. I like the trees there for the reason that nature put them there. I was good to meet you.
