Hi All
can anybody help me to creat an Avatar? When I reduce the image to 50 Pix. on the longest side I get a File size of 20 K Bytes when I reduce it smaller it practically disappears and it is still too big to be accepted. It is this image of the S.E.Owl I would like to use.
Any advice would be mostly appreciated.

Use `Save for Web` instead of `Save As` to save the image you wish to use as your avatar.
I think this will remove the exif info, which should get your photo down to a small enough file size.

I had similar problems to you and Sean suggested I save it as a GIF and it worked - super image !
