RMNP this morning
I was also up at RMNP this morning, though I didn't get any outstanding elk shots like Dan did! I was more concentrating on landscapes.

looks nice, David. How crowded was it up there?

Tony, Sunday was brutal. Today it wasn't so bad, but there were still a fair amount of people. Once the sun came up, it got worse, and finally chased me off. I was tired of waiting for people to move out of the shot!

I like that top image! the yellow in the tress really popo out. I also like how the sun lights up the top of the peak.

Dan, that sounds about right. I haven't been up in Rocky as much as normal lately because the crowds have not been to my liking. I'm used to shooting by myself through the summer. :frown:

Thank you all very much! I was really happy on the first shot with the way the light played on the aspens, really adding depth and contrast to them. I have to admit, though, I am a sucker for silhouettes against a blazing sky!!

Both are very nice, David, but I really like that first one. Great work!
