West Side Owl Creek Pass Road
As I mentioned, the Owl Creek Pass West side is awesome right now. Here's sunset the other night. For 5-mintues, we had amazing light, but the clouds to the western horizon blocked the true sunset and the alpenglow on those cliffs. Still, I'm quite happy. This is a rare photo where I did not fidget with the saturation (other then a slight increase as a side effect to a contrast s-curve). It was that vibrant.

Nice shot Brian. I was there on Friday afternoon/evening but decided to shoot the sunset on Chimney Rock and Courthouse Mountain from Vista Point. Luckily I saw some alpenglow on the peaks and the brush there was a fiery red in the late evening. Still waiting for my film to be developed so hopefully it turned out. This location definitely had some nice color last weekend, glad you were able to get there and see it!

Nice shot Brian. This was Saturday night right? I was down there as well but set up down at vista point - the light that night was really amazing!
