We saw a lot of this over the NENP weekend. I took this shot from the parking lot Sunday morning, just before we hiked up the Falling Waters Trail in Franconia Notch.

Great shot of Cannon Cliffs, and the fall colors really stand out in this kind of light. Though I'm sure the weather was less than ideal while shooting, the image has a nice feel to it!
Certainly looks ominous! Glad you made back to the car before the heavy stuff came down. Do you think the color was at the peak Sunday i Franconia Notch?
