Hi everyone,
As i'm not a paid up member of NPN can anyone advise me on how to
upload an image to UKNP
( I dont have a dedicated website to upload from )

Also i would like to join NPN but i dont want to use PayPal or give
my payment details out over the internet , so is it possible to join
by post here in the UK instead of filling out the application form and posting it to the US.
Regards
Andy...

You could create an account with somebody like Flickr! (free) and upload the photos there. Then you can just link to the image for posting here. That's what I do (although I sometimes upload images to spare space on my website and link to them there).

For £20 you can get a full blown website hoted at qiq. Then you can have all the fun of setting up your own website and showing your pics to the world.... something I quite enjoy....

Hi Andy,

Unfortunately NPN doesn't have any other mechanisms for taking payment other than Paypal or the postal form that Sean pointed out above. You should find that Paypal is fine - I've been using it since 2003 and haven't had a problem with them at all.

Your other alternative is to use one of the photo hosting services like Flikr or PBase that are around - as I've never used any of them I'm not too sure which you can use to link photos from (Obviously Flikr must be one of them as Michael uses them).

You should also check with your ISP to see if they provide any free space with your internet account (most do provide some). If they do, then you should be able to find out from them how to go about using it for web pages, images etc. Often they have instructions on how to upload files to it in their help pages.
