The October edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine is now online!
Starting this month, new editiorial content will be added throughout the month, instead of "all at once" each month. We will update this thread whenever new content is added.
To kick off the October edition, we have a seasonal "initmate landscape" photo by Guy Tal gracing the cover. As always, Guy can take a scene most of us would walk right past and make a stunning photo of it!
We hope you enjoy this latest cover photo and article, and the new format of adding content throughout the month!
Update 10/20
Be sure to check out Guy Tal's latest installment of his "essential landscape" series - Does the World Need Another Aspen Image?. Great insight from one of NPN's most respected landscape photographers!

NPN favorite Darwin Wiggett is back with more instruction on the use of filters in his article Fields of Gold (or was that blue?)- Three camera filters all digital photographers should be using.... Darwin once again proves that through the skillful use of filters, "visual punch" can be added to what might otherwise be unremarkable scenes. A must-read for those who wish to reach beyond the mundane!
