This is one of my favorite views of Camels Hump in Vermont. This view is from a friend's backyard. I'd love to wake up to this every morning
The color is still early here, but with all the wind and rain the past few days, I figured I should get this shot before all the leaves are out of the trees!
Wow, great shot on one of the most prominent ridges in the greens. There is a fantastic warmth to this shot, I'd almost define it as a yellow cast, but I really like the feel to it. Comp is dead on, and great use of filters to get the most out of the shot.
Nice shot. I would love to wake up to the view as well! Looks like the peak is a few days away at this location. The trees in this shot look they still most of their leaves so hopefully you can get a great shot when these colors are at their peak!!
Thanks for the color report on the Peacham area. Your forecast was dead on for the color condition. Unfortunately they had some pretty heavy thunderstorms around the Montpelier / Peacham area Wednesday night. We landed at Montelier and after driving to Peacham we found that most of the maples had lost 70% of their leaves, and there also seems like there was some kind of a blight.
