Hi All,
Not much of an opportunity to for moon shots this morning due to a thick cloud cover. However, I managed to capture this shot just before the moon disappeared for good! Pre-sunrise, 5D in landscape preset mode.

Nice pics, guys. I was hoping to catch full moon over the Flatirons this weekend, but the cloud cover wasn't cooperating. Still, some very nice light at sunrise and sunset yesterday.

Great images! Really like the rich color and the light.

All good, but nice catch on that first photo, Ken. In fact, I like it better than if the moon had been totally in view, with no clouds. The clouds and partial obscurity give it mystery and drama.

Great shots guys. I set up at the Mesa overlook on Saturday morning but the moon was pretty much lost behind the clouds by the time I had my camera ready. Good to see you managed to catch it Ken. It was a very cool sunrise nonetheless.
Hi Josh, I was also set up on the Mesa overlook on Saturday morning. From my vantage point the moon completely disappeared just before sunrise. Here's a couple from Saturday....The first url is a 10 shot pano taken from the Mesa location.

I just realized after James today mentioned his posted shots came out a lot darker, that my Adobe ACR conversion is pretty messed up. The resulting image as first displayed in PS is way too light. Unfortunately, I failed to compare with the original, because one just assumes that the conversion is going to be fairly accurate.
Anyway, here's a more accurate rendering as compared to the original (rocks and sky). I wasn't able to pull detail out of the black area without ruining the rest. However, there was detail in the original RAW image.
My monitor is calibrated and I just loaded calibration data for the 5D into ACR (per E.J. Peiker's Web site). Also, tried the conversion without the ACR calibration...
Scratching my head on this... Anyone have a clue as to what's happening here?
Heh, I was there Sat afternoon and Sun morning... I'll be spending most of the afternoon going through my photos, so hopefully I can get some stuff posted in the next day or two.

I also dig the pano Harold. I know I must have been there at the same time you were, but I was shooting from the little dirt path just south of the parking lot. It looks like we just missed each other. Good to see you got some nice shots. I'll have to post some too when I get my slides processed.
