NPN member and Photo Art gallery moderator Cindy Mead has been struggling with a nasty sinus infection over the last few months. Recently the infection spread and began to effect her vision, which has effected her participation on NPN. Cindy has just returned home from a stay at the hospital, and we hope that she is now on the path to recovery.
Please join me in wishing Cindy a speedy recovery!

Hi,Cindy,
Sounds tough, and painful. And vision problems are too frightful. I hope having the diagnosis is some relief to you along with the knowledge that they must be on the right course of treatment for you now. Will look forward to when you are back at the helm of Photo Art. Take care gently and heal.

Cindy,
I'm no stranger to sinus infections. I've been dealing with them nearly every other month for the last 7 years. Anti-biotics kind of loose their steam after they've been used so frequently. Anyway...I know what you are going through as far as the sinus infection thing goes, but cant imagine dealing with losing some or all of your vision on top of that. You're a strong spirit and I wish you a speedy and full recovery.

Just wanted to let you know we are thinking about you out in the Midwest, get well and stay strong.
Sorry to hear about your illness. I hope you get well soon. I've had my share of sinus infections as well. After you finally kick this start a regiment of fresh ginger tea every night. It helps to build a strong respiratory system immunity, and take garlic as well, it has antibotic as well as anti viral properties that fight off colds that could lead to sinus infections. That is what I did after I finally kicked the 6 month long infection and thank God it has not come back.
I'm sorry to hear this, Cindy. I cannot imagine what it would be like to have my vision affected. Take care and get better!

Hi Cindy, good to hear that your sight is improving (although probably not as fast as you hoped for). I hope you get some spirit from the small light at the end of the long tunnel....keep on fighting like you do! All the best!

Cindy
I am so glad to hear that you are improving! Your work has been such an inspiration to me in my short time learning nature photography. Would love to meet you sometime! Very best wishes for continued and total recovery!!
Hi Cindy!! I had hoped, when going through this thread again, that you had done an update! I'm glad that things are coming along. I'm sure not as quick as you'd like, as someone else had mentioned but progress IS progress. I found out recently that I have a cataract in my other eye (not camera eye, Thank God!!) but won't be able to have surgery until January. Meanwhile, it's not fun but I can't imagine not being able to function normally as you seem not to be able to do. Again, more upbeat thoughts and wishes for your continued recovery!!! Take care of YOU!!!
Hopefully, soon I'll be able to buy that chickadee print!!
It's good to hear that you are on your way to recovery. I too wish you full recovery and will keep you in my taughts. As they say you are major player around here.
Cheers,
Marko
