I was out trying to get some sunrise images and reflections of the foilage on Bristol pond this morning but the wind wasn't cooperating. Duck hunters had taken over the spots that I had scouted yesterday to setup on land, so had to shot from the canoe. I did capture the moon descending toward the horizon though.
Too bad the duck hunters get there ahead of you! How far north is this pond? I flew around Peacham and drove there on Thursday and I would say the colors were definetly on the way out. Rich adds to that opinion with huis shot from Kettle pond. Need to plan my week so any color reports you can provide will be appreciated!!

Jim...some trees here seem to still have some more color to go(some of the maples by my house seem to be just starting to really color up) while other varieties seem to be headed directly to brown. Bristol pond is about 15-20 miles due east of Dead Creek Wildlife Management area. I think the color might be at least as good as it was this weekend next weekend.
Here is another moon shot with some of the duck hunters included. I got there at 5:30-5:45am and there were about 8 vehicles already there.
