Not mine. But I got your attention. Did anyone here have Canon 1Ds MkII and lenses stolen recently. I found a craigslist ad that seems a little funny if ya know what I mean. GUy doesn't even sound remotely like he knows anything about cameras.
Check it out:

yeah, if he knew anything about camera gear, he'd know that he could easilly get $4k for it and more if he was more patient.

Looks to me like he's trying to unload it. Then again, it could also be that he inherited something that he knows nothing about...

Um by my humble calculations this is easily $10k worth of gear. Either this is stolen or this guy is clueless.

oh yeah, I forgot about the lenses... I was focused on the camera...

Plus - guess what - he is NYC! This is the reply I got from this jerk this morning, when i emailed to get more info : Can you say "stolen??"
Pisses me off - so I called a cop friend who willl notify the NYC cops , trace the address (he uses verizon which is easily track-able - how stupid!) and hopefully this camera will find it's way home to a fellow serious photographer and the jerk will have a new home in jail. Sandy

Subject: Re: CANON EOS-1Ds MARK II DIGITAL camera - $2900
Hi,

The camera is still available. I'm located in NYC
and i've posted my ad on more cities because i'm
leaving on vacation in a few days and i have to
sell the cam before that. UPS shipping charges are
included and i only use services that guarantee
us both security and safety in this type of deal.
Let me know if you're interested and we'll work
out the details. Thanks.
