I am going to buy a MacBook Pro for image viewing and editing.I am not sure which display is better, the glossy widescreen display or a display with anti-glare coating for a matte. Which one are you using?
What are the pros and cons of these two displays? Any suggestions and recommendations? Please help!
Thanks,

I'd go to a store where they have both and compare...don't take anyone else's opinion on this.

I'd agree with Doug--check them out for yourself.
The one concern I'd have with a glossy screen, especially on a laptop, is reflections. In my office, I don't have a window behind me, so it's not a problem, but I can tell when the glossy screen is off that it is really reflective, while the matte one is not. I think with a window or light source behind you, a glossy screen might be a problem.

Thank you for your suggestions. I went to the Mac Pro store today and checked them out. I liked the anti-glare coating LCD better.
Thanks again.
