Crikey Philiph a yawning Sanderling no a yawning Sanderling with one leg.
Must have gotten fed up with running about and worn himself out. Nice one

Nice one, it just a pity about the rock behind the bird being a sightly similar colour to the birds plumage.

Hi Philip
nice shot with plenty of detail in the plumage. I also like the expression on the Bird's face.

Hi Philip,

Very nice shot of a particularly attractive species.
Another compositional option would be to crop a little off the bottom, just enough to lose the out of focus pebbles.

I quite like the oof f/g pebbles, I think it adds to the composition.
Whites look great also, nice work.

Hi Phil,

An excellent shot of this super little bird, only minor nit is the pale rock behind but not a lot you could do about that, but sharp detailed and a great pose.

Very nice shot. Agree with comments made about the pale rock behind the bird.

Hi Philip,

Nice low angled shot, although I'd prefer it if the Sanderling hadn't shown us what it had for breakfast .
