Hey all, this is a shot I took at the coast near newport - the first shot I am posting as a member! Sorry about the bland name. I generally dont like naming my photos because a. I can never find an appropriate name, and b. personally I think naming photos kinda changes the interpretation and takes away from the shot. Comments and critiques appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. Your first post is a real dandy. Thhe red object in the foreground is a little distracting. Other than that, I like it. What kind of gear are you using? This almost has a fisheye effect.

Welcome Vinu, Nice first post. A small bump in contrast might really make it pop.

Thanks for the comments Erik and Eric. Honestly my print as well as the image of this on photoshop look much more saturated and seem to have higher contrast. Erik, I dont think this has a fisheye effect...I think it is just an illusion because the clouds at the upper right corner cover the horizon, making it looked curved.
