CUYAHOGA 10/13 UPDATE
Shot is of Sylvan Pond---last year --towards the end of my film days!

10/13
Lots of wind today...frost warning tonight. Better than Buffalo!

Still about 30-40% there are leaves down but many more on the trees.
Tinkers not even 1/2 yet, Brandywine better but not at peak.

Bridleveil should be OK, maybe the best place to shoot tomorrow although the light ( due o sunlight) will be dapple. Shoot leaves in the water at Bridleveil and maybe even Blue Hen Falls . The landscape shots might me tough tomorrow due to the bright sunlight. I'd also be checking out Sylvan Pond. It probably will be a tough day for the landscape folks due to the sun. Fog not expected in the AM but frost is so some macro frost images will be available. It's not the best weekend for fall color shooting.... BUT wait..I still predict peak around the 25th -27th.

The rain and dampness will create fog around the Beaverpond/ boardwalk next weekend. Don't miss sunrise!!!

Look for clouds & showers next weekend. The following weekend still to be determined weather wise. Temps warming up mid week this week , getting cooling off end of the week.

Next update Monday night.

Thanks for keeping us posted Jack! The wind down here in Columbus has been brutal!

The wind was brutal in the Cuyahoga Valley today but if you got out early enough you could get some shots before it got too bad.

Here is Brandywine from this morning.

Martin,

Nice shot. You were lucky to not have people on that viewing platform. There are 2-3 weddings over there every Saturday! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...!!!!

To others that view this image... you can't eliminate those branches in the lower left without falling 100' into the creek!
