Monument Valley Last Week
CAZ and I braved the rains and went to Monument Valley and the southern side of Cedar Mesa; the first time I've been to these places. Though this is an iconic shot, I think it really captures the spirit of the place. We had a great time!

Nice! THANKS for showing us a little different view from the "classic" overdone one.

Hope you had a great time out there!

Very nice!
Just reminds me that I REALLY have to get back down there and shoot some more.

Thanks for the feedback.

I am looking forward to going back too. The Utah/Arizona border areas really are amazing; there are clear reasons why it's iconic. Truly a wonderful place for exploration, and finding all kinds of cool things to shoot.

CAZ and I saw the full effect of the rain while we were there; gully-washers and pourovers galore! Roads washed out, too. Still raining down lots there, from what I hear...

Our Navajo guide said residents of the Valley saw two tornadoes, and one nearly touched down. Sure would have liked to catch that!

Very nice work, Nat. The interplay of light and shadows makes this stand out. Super!
