Golden eagle taken today. We flew the bird from the 200ft+ clifs to allow some decent flight shots. The weather was grim so we had to get the bird below us to avoid a bright white sky.

Hi John

A good decision to shoot downwards in the conditions, an excellent shot which gives a sense of this bird of prey in it's wild habitat flying high along the cliff edges. :toast:

cheers

Hi John

Super shot - the inclusion of the edge of the cliff face helps make the image!

Nice image, I love the way the image is lookin down, and different and eye catching angle.

Nicely done.

Quite like the different viewpoint you chose - shame about the weather, typical for that area of yorkshire :frown: - but it made you try to think a bit harder .

Hope all the birds landed safely - unlike a number of pilots who've managed to crash there in the last few months

Hi John,

Lovely shot. It is improved by the cliff in the foreground.

John,
Lovely shot, and one that reminds me of the many eagles I've seen in just this position.

BTW who's bird is it?

Great shot, the sort angle you don't see often, it works well.

The angle works for me too.The cliff face and tree line make a good image so much better.
