Parasol
Hi All,

Here is an image from this morning in the Lee Valley Park of what I think is a Parasol.

The techs were:
Nikon D2X, Sigma 150mm macro, 1/80thsec at F8.

Kind regards Chris.

Looks like one to me too. nicely taken although the highlights in the bg distract ever so slightly, perhaps shielding from the light may help...

Hi Chris,
Are you sure this is a Parasol looks a bit small. I think it may be a Macrolepiota Rhacodes - Shaggy Parasol

Hi Steve,

That is exactly the debate I was having with somebody near me. I thought I'd post it as a Parasol and see if anybody said otherwise.

Thanks for the tip.
Regards Chris

Hi Chris

Nice image - I can see what Phil means re highlights in the BG but they don't bother me as it gives you more of a feel that you are on the woodland floor!

Definately got a nice Autuminal feel to it this one,not only because of the subject matter but also because of the leaf litter setting.
