Dabchick with fish taken today. Only the 2 year that these have bred on my local river in a looooooong time so I am trying to make the most of them while they are still around

"Have you tried to darken the white area on the tail and head as it looks a bit of a strange bluey-white colour?" === Hi Justin, no I havnt done anything to the whites but I can see what you mean, looking at the RAW it looks similar to the above so I am not sure what has caused that, but thanks very much for letting me know as I hadnt noticed it until you mentioned it
Just had a play with the whites (or should I say blues ;) I do not seem to be able to include the image in the reply so here is a link to copy in case anyone wants to compare them

Hello Terry
Great shot and great capture I have never got the chance to photograph one with a fish so well done. I would try and reprocess this shot again from the raw, I don't know what programme you use but just tone down the colour temp and then bring it back up in levels and saturation.
Cheers

Ditto what Justin said but still a fine shot, especially the fish!

A fine shot of a great species.
Have you tried to darken the white area on the tail and head as it looks a bit of a strange bluey-white colour?
