With all of the recent discussion of what constitutes a good nature photo, I thought I would pose this question. The only catch is that you have to answer in one, relatively simple sentence with no additional explanation.
So I will start off with mine;
"Good nature photography fosters interest and appreciation of nature."
I look forward to your responses!

Since I am primarily a macro specialist:
Good nature photography shows what I choose not to see.
Little things, like spiders, bugs, flower centers.

Good nature photography educates me about the subject.

"Good nature photography makes a person more aware of their surroundings."
Good nature photography invokes a strong "emotional response".

Probably a bit simplistic, but my general criteria has been, "makes me feel like I'm there, makes me want to be there, and/or would like this on my wall at home or work".

Good nature photographs, to me, are images that impart a sense that the photographer looked a little harder, saw a little more and felt a little deeper about what was in front of her or him, than the average person.

Good nature photography shows the subject as part of the natural environment it has evolved to exist in, without apology for that environment.
A good nature photographic image leaves the viewer with a new appreciation for his world and his surroundings either with inspiration, humor or grace as seen by the particular photographer.

Good nature photography, is like good craftsmanship.
Good nature photography will hopefully get people to pause and reflect, whether it is reflection on the image or on oneself.

Jim, good nature photography for me is really two different things. First if it is a photo I took it serves to restimulate me with some of the senses and feelings I had when I witnessed it in person. It serves to remind me of my feelings at the time I was there. If it is someone else's image it creates some of the same senses but more of the effect of "this is so wonderful in the photo, it must have been awesome to have witnessed it in person.

Good nature photography makes one communicate with the eye of the beholder on the other side of the lens.
