NPN members can now request our our new NPN Field Cards and embroidered patch shown above. The cards have room for the member to print their contact information and hand out to those who want to know more about the Nature Photographers Network. They are the same size as a standard business card.
Excellent idea Jim! I've been writing the NPN address on the back of my own business card for folks, but I like this better.
Now where did I put those 39 cent stamps?

Just thinking out loud Jim, but why not create a standard Avery cardstock template for folks to download and print themselves. They could even add their own name in the middle first.

Bob, great suggestion! I will create an Avery .zpd template file too. For those who already have the Avery program and are willing to buy the cards, this would be a convenient alternative.
BTW, the ones above are the "raised ink" type and the stock can be written on without smearing.
Just a quick thought but could this be done at Kinkos, or the UPS stores ? I have told lots of fokes about your fine site, both on the trail and on the web.
Great idea!
The NPN website has been on my business cards for a couple years now!

Thanks to all for your comments and suggestions!
The cards available now, and they are quite nice. To print your contact info, you could also have a stamp made at Staples, Kinkos, etc. with your name and any other contact info you wish to include.

iJm,
I have 15 folks doing my workshop next weekend here in Ohio. I'll bet we will get a number of new participants from that also. I actually go online using my laptop & digital projector and demonstrate NPN as part of the workshop. We really have a good group here and its always getting better .
Thanks to you & Donna for all your work!

Jack, if you want some extra cards and a few NPN hats to raffle off, just let me know!

Jim, a great idea. I have my original patch from NPN on the front of my Tilley Hat but would like another one for my photo vest. A great big thanks to you and Donna for all you do in making this the best site on the web. The cards are a nice touch to let people know about this site. I was trying to remember the other day when NPN got started. I've been around here for a long time ( number 132 ) and the site just continues to improve. You and Donna continue to keep things fresh and interesting. And there are such a great group of people here!

Bill and all, thanks so much for your kind words!
NPN hit the web in April of 2000, and membership began in April of 2001. Bill, you signed up in August of 2001, so you really are a NPN veteran!
Our sincere thanks to all for your participation - I would not be sitting here right now in my "NPN office" (conveniently located in the basement of our home) if it wasn't for the support of NPN membership. We will continue to do our best to keep NPN at the top of the heap - and worth your time and support!
Good idea. Can you add value to it by putting something else useful on the back? Pithy photographic advice of some sort? Hyperfocal table, 2007 NPN weekly challenges, calendar, ten commandments (just kidding folks), whatever.

Pete, great idea! I will keep that in mind the next time we need to reorder. We've got 4,000 of them now we'd like to get out there!
