Thanks to Eric Hahl whose hospitality snacks and big-screen viewer made the difficulty of finding his house well worthwhile. And thanks to all who appeared (a dozen or so) for sharing their knowledge (immense) and experience (cumulatively probably about a century and a half or two).
Let's do it again, soon! Maybe we can bring some seasonal images to the next one, and maybe even take turns doing hands-on work.....

It was worth just getting together and talking shop in addition to reviewing some techniques. I think this would be a worthwhile monthly, Bi-Monthly or Quarterly event. I can think of several topics we may want to incorporate in future agendas.

Yes, mucho thanks to Eric Hahl. Beautiful home, great set-up for this kind of event. Look forward to more in the future.

Had a great time. Thanks again, Eric and also thanks to Jeremy (and everybody else, actually) that freely shared techniques that they are using. I learned some very nice things from last night.

Thanks Eric! I had a lot of fun meeting everyone last night, great bunch of people, and a lot of knowledge there. I had a great time, and the food was great.
I think a monthly meeting would be great. I was thinking about it and thought that meetings on like B&W conversion techniques would be cool, sharpening, blending, etc., each deserving it's own meeting probably. Water techniques, by Ned naturally. I had a bunch of questions for him about that but time just slipped by too fast. Also, maybe have one on trips members go on, locations, best time to shoot, etc... that sort of thing. I would love to have one at my house, but with a three year old and a pregnant wife, scheduling would really be a problem.
Had a great time meeting everyone. Thanks much Eric.

You are welcome. It was Mine and Amy's pleasure to host this first meeting. It was great to meet everyone in the flesh. We'll definitely do it again sometime.

Those sounds like great ideas Jeremy.

I think someone also brought up the idea of getting together after an event (such as silver falls this weekend) and doing a critique session...
