Jumped in the car yesterday right after work and boogied up to the Moulton Falls area. I followed the trail upstream to see what kind of color was showing. Captured this before the rain caught up to me.

Nice rainbow of colors, Eric. I like the sky being blue like that - it looks a little too blue (?) but is better than if it was white.

I like those ferns and leaves in the comp. Have you looked at this at full size to Look at the transition between the branches/needles and the sky? I just wonder if there is a little CA that might be fixable in either the blue or cyan adjustment. Maybe that is affecting the sky a bit here??

I like the composition. I can't comment on the colors due to a non calibrated work monitor...

I like the comp as well. I am wanting it a bit lighter on the bottom. Colors seem really nice to me.

Decent exposure overall and colors are great. Love ALL the range captured here.

Thanks all! Here's a follow up copy. I messed around with the color fringing a little bit and lightened it up a tad.

Yep, I like this one better.

The second one is better. The colors are outstanding. I'm wondering if it could use a little more sharpening. I don't have my glasses on so it could be my eyes.

Nice Eric! This reminds me of what I see on my bike rides along the Banks-Vernonia trail. When I first opened it, I thought maybe you'd been out my way shooting!
I think I actually prefer the original post. The contrast sets off the colors better IMHO.
Hi, Eric,
I really like the composition of this image; for color, I like your repost better. I love the look of the multiple layers of forest apparent here. It effectively shows the character of PNW forests; it's beautiful.
