Last night the 2006 Colorado Book Awards event was held in Denver. It is rumored that a fellow RMNPer was there in a tux to receive the award for best pictorial book of the year. Todd Caudle certainly deserves this award for his amazing 14,000 Feet: A Celebration of Colorado's Highest Mountains. Way to go Todd!

Fantastico! Too bad we don't get those fine books here in Illinois! Maybe you can do a book on Illinois sea level landscapes! Congrats!
Joe.

I won't believe this until I see the Tux (no pictures of the Tucks please). Ok, in the case that it's true, congrats. Honestly, this is a huge honor. You should be very proud of yourself Todd.

While in Colorado recently for a fall colors shoot, I had the opportunity to check out this book in person. Outstanding work and congratulations on the award!

Well, I guess I'd better dispell some ugly tux rumors once and for all. That would be me on the right, without so much as a tie on. No close-ups of the Tucks pads, though.
Again, thanks to everyone. I'll unleash a little more good news soon.

Big congrats.
Congratulations Todd.
Very well deserved. The book is so well laid out and the inclusion of the past time images was such a wonderful idea.
Here's to many, many reprints.
I was going to see if we could solicite a photo of The Dude in his Tux but if it was Tucks, well I really know too much already
What a great deal. Congratulations, Todd.
