Another Mt Jefferson Comp
THis is a digital gnd blend of two images...but these trees were really cool...especially with the paintbrush and lupine. I might actually add a moon of the same size, but not blown out like it is in this exposure.
It would appear to be over saturated in the red department...but the glow on the mountain was intense.

I love the comp but there is some masking issues at the top of the mountain peak, I think. I bet the DR was huge for this sunset.

Rick,
It's a nice comp. I do see what lohn is talking about at the top. The sky is a little dull but you got to take what you get. Sorry you can't make our outing tomorrow. You guy's have fun at Green Lakes. :frown:

nice one Rick! yeah, the blend does need a bit of work around the peak, but knowing you, you'll work it til it's right

Fix what they said and I'd swear it were Marc's.

Red cast does not seem to be a problem, I'll look again on a good monitor but it looks pretty good to me.

Rick, this is great. Its nicely balanced and has great color. Obviuosly as the others stated you need to fix the transition at the top of the mountain to sky but other than that its great.

The comp is great and the color seems real good. The placement of the moon is awesome. It just seems like a bit too much DR for the scene to me though, I could be wrong.

Great comp Rick. I really like the overall scene, the wildflowers in the foreground make this one for me.
