Let's see some fall pics!
Save your favorites for the contest if you plan on participating, but let's see what you came back with this fall!

Here's one of mine from the last weekend in September. I don't want to give away this secret location, but I will say that it's down south somewhere.

The sunrises and sunsets weren't all that fantastic while we were out - either completely clear or completely overcast, but the midday light was actually pretty nice with clouds coming and going.

D2X, 17-35/2.8, lots of GND.

Fall Color Underfoot
Native Tall Grass Along the Arickaree River, Fox Ranch (The Nature Conservancy), Yuma County
Although this area is shortgrass prairie, the grasses along the Arickaree are tall grass due to the constant moisture coming from the river. In autumn the big bluestem, Canada Rye, switchgrass etc. turn a rich red color.

Here's one I've yet to post anywhere. Was attempting to shoot the Maroon Bells, but had my camera pointed the wrong way .
