Here is a shot from Joshua Tree taken in August. I liked the contrast between the yellow bloom and the blue sky. Not sure what I would use this for, but it was an interesting sight seeing the Yucca in full bloom.
Nikon D70, iso 200, 18-70mm, f/13, tripod, remote, curves, slight hue and saturation.

Good to see anotherpost form you. Nice image...but I'd prefer the greens to be greener. That would give this more of an appeal.
