It was really great to meet many of you and I was surprised at how many showed up - we need to do this more often!! Here is my favorite shot from yesterday - caught the sun coming up thru the trees at the right time for a sun star effect. 1st time in my life I actually WENT for this effect so before you say it's cliche, remember I just figured out how to do this.

Good angle on a hard to capture falls. I gotta say for the record that I like the sun star effect...that might be because you're gonna see one from me sometime soon

John,
That sunstar effect worked out nicely. When I say you shooting this, I knew you would come up with a good one. I worke this area around 2:00 in the afternoon and the lighting was different but nice. BTW, it was great to finally meet you. Way over due.

John,
Interesting angle on the North Falls. I like it and teh sun burst completes it for me.
Very nice. I worked this same spot but didn't go for the sun star, and I think the it works well here.

John,
this is a very nice image from your trip. The branch breaking the falls kinda bugs me. If it were mine, I'd clone out those leaves just to the edge of the water.
