I concur, I need to get out as often as possible before my daughter arrives in February. At that point, I think my photography interests will be shifting gears. I'm up for any size group outing, it doesn't have to be an official "event" set up, although I look forward to more of those as well. My biggest issue is I'm a slow hiker so if a goup wants to do a long hike I don't want to hold anyone up. Other than that, I'm up for just about anything.
It would be wonderful to be able to join a group outing. Is there a favorite place up north a little more so that those of us in WA might come.
Ryan, I am a slow hiker, too, so you'd have a least a little company. It's just fun to be with others of like passion on an outing.
Good idea on the Olympia area. Surely there's a NWNPN member from Olympia who might have some thoughts on good shoots around there? That would be great.

Good to hear from other slow hikers. There's always so much to see & shoot!
1. The Nisqually Wildlife reserve just off of I-5 at Exit 114.
2. McClain Nature Trail (On Delphi Road)
3. Tumwater Falls (next to the Old Olympia Brewery)
4. Wolf Haven is nearby, but not sure of the cost.
5. Of course you always have Mt Rainier, just an hour away.
