Brown Hare

Taken the same day as my Grey Partridges.
Using the car as a hide. Had several hares round the car giving their startled looks as they came through the grasses and up to the car.
For some reason that afternoon several were on the move.

D2x 600mm AFS II + 1.4 conv.
Slight crop on right hand side to even things up a bit.

Lovely soft lighting on this and very punchy. Like the pose of the hare and the fact he 's not staring down the barrel of a 600mm so he looks relaxed.
