Swan Landing
Taken on Saturday morning in Richmond Park with the sun coming up over my right shoulder. This guy took off, did a big circle and landed back on the same pond. My luck was in!

1Ds2, 400mm2.8, Wimberley/Manfrotto, ISO400, 1/400, f4. Cloned in about a 20pixel strip down the rhs to give a bit more space, otherwise USM and saturation.

Hi Dave,

A nice shot of the swan. Like you say - it's nice when your subjects decide to co-operate!

Nice capture - not overkeen on the very dark water, but you have handled the exposure very well to produce a very pleasing image!

With Dave here on the water, but the exposure is handled very well indeed, would have been interesting to have got the full reflection but it seems you are full frame now so prob not possible.
