Epson 2200 Roll Paper Cutter Question

I am just getting set up to start using roll paper to start making some larger prints. After loading the paper cutter I noticed that prints made from regular paper do not eject smoothly..I need to go ahead and pull them out manually. Should I keep the paper cutter on all the time and if so is there a way to get the prints to finish feeding into the paper tray when printing is complete? For now I have taken it back off and plan to install it only when printing from the roll.

I had the cutter on my 2200 all the time and had no problem with sheet paper. I would suggest trying again, making sure the cutter is attached and seated properly.
