Sulphur Tuft
Well, as we seem to be in a bit of a fungi phase, I thought I'd post this one of some Sulphur Tuft I spotted a couple of weeks ago. It's very common but always makes a nice sight when you come across it.

D200, 70-200VR @ 120mm, 1/8@f16, ISO 140, minor crop in NC, resize and USM in PS.

Very nice and colourful. I'm always in two minds when the subject is cropped off at the bottom of the frame. I'm just wondering what it would be like if the first row of fungi were in but they run out of the frame at the top, kind of the opposite of what you have here if you see what I mean. That aside, great subject though and well lit.

I think a bit of Gardening would not have gone amiss removing some of the fallen leaves however the fungi look nice with the wetlook and even lighting :toast:

Tis a nice display indeed.... with the fallen leaves adding to the Autmnal feel IMO, but I do wonder whether you might have been better including more at the base, not knowing what was there it is difficult to say....
