yaquina sunset
I took this image a couple of week ago while my wife and I were visiting the Coast. I'm not sure of the composition, does it work? This shot was kind of quickly captured as we pulled into the state park. I wanted to silhouette the trees but had a hard time finding something that I really liked, any way, please let me know what you think.

Nikon D70s
1/500 sec f/14
RAW processed in CS2

I've been in that spot many times...not this spot, but the spot where you have a wonderful sunset and are left scrampling for comps. I'd warm this up a bit more and make it golden...and then it's a nice shot.

I like it as it is, with a kind of bronze/sepia tone. It would be so easy to get completely over the top with warming.....strictly a subjective preference I guess....

I like the light a lot - the trees I believe obscure the whole scene a little too much.
