Forest Scene
I have been trying to take one of these for a few years now with no such luck...either the scene was too busy, the light was wrong, or something....

well this is one that I actually kind of liked...I was hoping you guys and gals could take a look and let me know what you like or dislike about it....

thanks much

Darren

I like this for the rhythms of light and dark in the vertical lines of the conifers, and for the way they blur a little in the light. I'm seeing something like that blur when a lens gets a tiny bit wet from condensation on a cold morning, it's kind of cool. Not to cast any aspersions on your lens hygiene..... Conifers and sky are a challenge, aren't they?

I like it a lot, I like the camera angle, how it's keeping the under brush from making the shot too busy. There is kind of an "unearthly" feeling to it, makes me want to stare at it. :toast:

I looks pretty decent Darren. The only thing I don't kinda like is it seems to not be anchored. Like I need to see a bit more of the ground in front of the trees. I just feel it doesn't have any foreground interest to lead you in.
