Not sure which model. This was taken at Bempton after a day of attempting candid's of goth's at Whitby, an interesting experience but not my cup of tea, yet.

Cheers now

Candids of Goths at Whitby

Light looks to be harsh but a nice sharp flight shot, well exposed.

Nice sharp study.

From the bill dimensions I would plump for GBB, it looks particularly deep and thick, - I will have a scan of gull books tonight, the flesh colour of lower mandible may be an id feature of 3rd summer/winter plumage - head looks partially streaked rather than pure white of 4th year + adult bird.

Oops the techs, I'm out of posting practice, they are:
D2X, 300mm F4 AFS, 1/1250th at F/8, ISO 200, high speed crop mode.

Cheers

Damn! I forgot it was Whitby Goth weekend, but couldn't have gone as I was o/w engaged but would love to see some images if you have a seprate link you can pm me - I'm really into Goth/dark/death and doom metal  Anyways, back to nature  Nice shot of a a Gothic looking lesser black back (IMHO) but, and this may be down to monitors, would like to see the levels lifted a bit. looks a bit grey in the whites on my monitor.

Regards

John

The light may be hard on this but it does work well IMHO. Good job of not blowing the whites and holding the shadow detail.

Hello Tim
As said, nice sharp image - no nits from me. Hope your Goth trip wasn't too dark!
Best wishes
