Hi folks, after looking at the calendar it appears that the best fit for a Seattle Area Workflow Session is December 1st.

So please reply here in this thread your interest in attending so we can get a feel for how many will be joining us. This event is open to both current members and those who might not have joined yet but are also interested in extending their processing skills in the digital realm.

Here is a "rough" outline of what we can do:

Showtime will begin at 6pm so PLEASE make every effort to be on time!!!

This is an open forum for each participant to bring both information and questions to the table. We will all learn from each other!

I plan to continue demo's of my workflow using Adobe Lightroom beta 4.1, Adobe Photoshop CS2 and PK Sharpener. We really only scratched the surface of a complete workflow at the previous session.

If folks want to bring a problem image/images to get input/assistance I say bring it!! Copy it to either a CD or DVD as needed and we as a group will make a best effort to answer the questions at hand.

If someone else would like to step up to the plate and do a workflow demo that too would be awesome!!

If folks feel compelled to contribute to the pizza fund that toooooooo would be even MORE awesome!!

If folks want to put together a shoot on Saturday let's post your thoughts on that here on this thread.

Please do feel free to bring prints both your successes and your works in progress. Remember this is a learning session as much as an opportunity to show off one's best efforts.

Oh and please BYOB for those of you who partake of the fermented libation!

Rick,
December 1st up on Snoqualmie Pass...hmmm. Will there be a snow cat to pick up members and shuttle them to your home? Wish I could make it, but I have a birthday party to attend (not mine). Next one for sure though.

Rick, I'm a definite maybe "I want to show!" vote. Let me check on the home-schedule, and then I can give you a better answer. I'd like to join in both the work session and Saturday shoot.

Hi Rick, another idea is to reverse the order .... field shoot first then do workflow session on some images captured that day in the field. Just a thought.

Hi friends!
Thought it wise to clarify - we live in the City of Snoqualmie, not on the pass. Snow is a possiblity, but definitely not enough to need a plow. Nancy

Nancy, if we don't need a plow, do you think water wings  might be in order - are things still floating in your area? Please add my name to the list of attendees. Thanks.

Nancy & Rick, count me IN for at least the evening workshop on Dec. 1st, and very likely the Sat. morning "float" or whatever mode we find ourselves in. Thanks!
