Just got back yesterday from a road trip to shoot with Jerry Greer. Here's a few shots. I've just started going through the images, so I'll post a follow-up thread or link to a gallery when I have time in the days to come.
Of course, the best part of the trip involved no photography at all. And that was Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday to watch the Nextel Cup race. All except Tony Stewart winning. But what an awesome track to see the big boys race!

your artsy fartsy shot is INCREDIBLE. I'm in love.

OK , my friend, the Whitewater Falls shot got my attention. It is awesome! The long view is OK and the macro leaf too, but you know I'm a sucker for water dropping downwards.Did Gerry get on your case for shooting digi? or is he doing that now too.

The waterfall shot is my favorite. I love the comp and colors. Looking forward to more.

Woah! That first shot especially is freaking awesome.

When the hell were you at Whitewater Falls, dude?
I was there Saturday morning. Very breezy, but I think I managed a couple pics.
Then I popped over to another falls in SC and apparently found a number of nasty crawly critters that decided to chew on me despite the DEET I applied. SHEESH!! You'd think they'd be gone by now, but... dang... talk about itchy little bastages...

Wow - Awesome shots Todd! I would really like to get out and see that part of the country. And #2 is just freakin sweet...

Hey, you should publish a Blue Ridge Mountains calendar... Jerry won't mind, will he?
These are sweet, Todd. As a photograph, #2 is my fav - just beautiful. But as a scene, it's hard to beat #1 - the mountains and the trees just go on forEVER. Incredible.

Great stuff Todd. I love the ku shot but my fav is the rapid with trees. I can't wait to see some of the fog and rain shots. That was quite a dumper for a day and a half!

I'll chime in for #2 as well... cool vision of that.
Debating about going back up to Whitewater this weekend... seemed like there was still a lot of green there last weekend... Looking at my shots of it a couple days after Todd was there, I danced all around Todd's composition without hitting it, but find I like his comp better than mine.
