Out in Derbyshire yesterday looking for landscapes and autumn colours and ended up at Curbar Edge at sunset. This shot was taken in the last few minutes before the sun hit the horizon. As with most of the landscapes, looks better bigger.

Hi John,
I see you used an ND filter, I've started experimenting with the D2X in camera multiple image mode to combine two images with differant spot metering points. So far I reckon its good but requires a still day for sure.
Nice image, great light and colour, as you say needs to be seen big.

Hi John
Great location, light and colours. Very minor nit the sky colour TL looks a little unusual!

A lovely scene, well composed. At first I found the foreground boulders to be a visual obstacle, but now I like the arrangement, especially with the warm light glancing on them. Some elements of the sky/clouds look a little 'hot' but still a fine image.
