I was out at DNM a few weeks ago for work (no - really!), and took a few pics while there.
This is a morning shot at Wagon Wheel Point looking down on the Yampa River.

I have a few more I'll post when I can.

I love the composition here. I wish the mountain was not so bright, but this is still great. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Momo - sweet composition, Chuck. The reflected warm light in the river breaks up the dark areas nicely. Cool clouds, too. Looking forward to seeing more!

Nice one, Chuck. In addition to the composition and nice foreground, I really like the clouds. I spent several days in DNM in my pre-photography days and have wanted to return. At least when I was there, there was virtually no one once you go away from the river bottom and rafters. I think I've read somewhere that it might be the quietest place in the US. It's nice to have a reminder of the scenery.

Thanks for the comments.
I bumped up the contrast just a bit from the original and probably didn't need to.

Roger, I ran into a couple of other campers at Echo Park, and 2 more park people when I was out and about. That was it! I was completely alone most of the time and if quiet is what you like - this is the place to go.

Nice image. Really like the light in this shot.
