Tuffties flaps down at Slimbridge
Taken at Slimbridge yesterday afternoon as the light faded, I have made many many trips to Slimbridge (c. 30) over the years trying to get a shot of a pair of Tufted Duck landing together.

EOS 1D Mark 2, 300mm f/2.8 IS + 2xII extender, ISO 320, F/5.6, 1,2000 sec

Nice one Larry - this is quite a comical image IMO (and I mean that in a complimentary way!!). Nicely timed, to get the 'legs akimbo' poses.

Lovely shot Larry. The browns work well on the grey background. You must be well chuffed with this one! :toast:

Looks like they are in a bit of a flap (even I groaned!). It's a really nice shot, great timing and excellent composition.

Love their poses and to get the pair both sharp is a real bonus!
