Here's a shot from today with Rick and Ned and Mark. Had a great time as always guys.

I liked the way this tree was backdropped by the somewhat foggy forest and had caught the last few remaining leaves in its branches.

Amazing Eric! What an eye to see this comp :toast: It was a fun day, wasn't it?

I like it! Good "timing," and a nice, suble color palate. I'd like to see what it looks like as a print.

Sounds like you all have a good time. I was shooting our 10 year-old grandaughter's soccer game this afternoon. Had fun at that, but it's a different kind of photography.

Nice shot, Eric. A little too oof for me in the bottom half, but I love the lines and color of the BG.

John, this is a classic case for buying a tilt shift lens. I could have tilted that lens into the plane of the tree and gotten it all in focus with a nice oof background all without changing my angle. The wheels are now turning in my head...just how can I get this past the banker (wife), LOL.

Eric,
I really thing you did an overall good job seeing and executing this shot. Nice work. I know what you mean about the s/t len's. I could have used it this weekend also.
