New Creek up near Sandy
Well as crazy as it seems in this weather I ventured out again this morning and did the whole ring around the mountain trip and although the overhanging leaves were gone....I found new creeks that have formed since last week....with a plethora of leaves on the ground around the water...

D-70
ISO 200
F18 @ 3 sec
Auto -3 white balance
Multi Pattern Manual Exposure

the moss is really bright right now!!!

It's okay Darren, except the BG bugs me in comparison to the look of the stream and mossy rocks. I like the look of the stream making a bend and coming right at me. I like it even better if I scroll it to crop it almost in half. But I know you do lots of wide angle, and that's not so much how I shoot. Many others of yours have more of a WOW factor. So, see, now you really have to put out!

This is nice but I kind of agree with Catherine on the crop. If you lose it just above the water line, you pay a lot more attention to everything in the water and the background is not there asking for my attention. The water part is really nice

Nice water shot. I used the screen to crop this in several ways. I like best just with a simple crop just above the bank of ferns and then edit out the tree. I like this better than just a water shot going form the lower left to the upper right -= all just my opinion.

Darren,
The banks seem a little cluttered with bare branches and twigs. The exposure and the leaves look good.

alright thanks......guess I could not spend all day removing branches and leaves to "clean" it up......hopefully the one I posted in ESS will get better reviews!!!! a slightly different angle
