More from Washington Park Arboretum, Seattle, WA. I just liked the quietness and the way the road beckons wandering to wherever.
D200 and 24-120 @ 102 on tripod. Post processing: curves, cloning and hue/sat adjustment.
This is full frame. What about cropping out the fringy evergreens on the left and right? Was trying for more depth by creating a frame with those trees. Don't think it works. What do you think? about that or anything else with this image?
Thanks for looking.

I think that crop you mentioned might work well.

Catherine,
Nice image but I feel like I need to see more of the road leading to the background. I think you are on the right track with this. Maybe going back for another take is in order?

Thanks guys. Here's a repost with additional cloning (decided not to crop). I wish a retake was a option but I'll bet the storms have taken the leaves by now. I think I tried adding more of a frame with the FG trees but I can't remember why I chose not to do it. Next year! Erik I like your idea, too, and may try another rendition that extends the road in a more obvious way; it's there but fades out.
Does anyone feel the sense of mystery the way it is now. Anyone tempted to walk in there for a look?

Catherine, this works better IMHO. The sweeping curve/lines of the track/road are cleaner without the crowding of the now removed foliage. Now I want to walk in and see what's around the bend. BTW, from what I can see in our small jpegs, you must be a master cloner!
Thanks for the comment, Steve. Yes, with me, cloning is idiot's delight. I actually like doing it. I don't know about "Master" status, but I appreciate the compliment.

I really like this shot and how the road lines lead you into the scene.
