Hi Tim, when we were down in arkansas photographing the falls, we went to this one above Copperhead falls. We saw no name for this one in your book, or anything about it. We heard while we were there from some hikers/backpackers that this little slot canyon area was Cathedral. Is this called Cathedral falls, or something else? Thank you very much for info.
Looking what anyone has to say about this to? To much water at bottom?

Well, I'm the wrong Tim for this one, but I can comment on the photo. I've shot this fall as well (a couple of Januarys ago, and I think the same log was there at that time) and I think you've done a great job here and don't think there's too much water at the bottom, though it does seem kind of long and skinny.

Thanks Tim, appreciate the imput. I did both a vertical, and wide format. I have been wanting to do a vertical-pano type shot, and I used my good friends t/s lens for this. (Alot of fun I might add, alot). Not sure if I like the ver or wide more. in print this would be about 16 x 36, which might make a very nice print. You know how you go back and fourth with prints, and this is one I am not sure about, lol.
Nice photo with perfect water tones - most folks blow out moving water. I've not heard it called Cathederal or any other name for that matter, so whatever floats your boat will work!

Thanks Tim very much. I wasn't sure about the name, it was just what some were saying, I thought maybe you would know the correct name, seeing as you are the king of falls in Arkansas
I have shot this fall several times, too. The log seems to be a staple. I have always called it Indian Creek Falls just out of default. We have three other major named falls in the area with Tunnel Cave Falls, Eye of the Needle, and Copperhead, but I have never heard a named reference to this one. I suggest shooting it in May or June when the ferns have really grown in along the bank to the right.

Thank you Dominic, much appreciate, (I was just commenting at your falls shot on ESS, but crashed, lol)
Tunnel cave was not flowing well, just a drip so to speak, We did not go up to Eye of the Needle, also on that is there a photo of Eye of the Needle anywhere? I had my son with me, and was not attemping to scale up this to go see that, without him I would have though.
Tim E has some published photos of the Eye. www.cloudland.net
I have some, but none are currently on my website.

Oh Dominic, thank you, I saw it. Interesting area, also, I was calling it Indian Creek falls too, I was just curious on the Cathedral part, seeing as we heard it. My friend is the one who thought of calling it Cathedral falls.
