I know this been asked recently but I am going to be in town for a week, Sunday through Saturday morning and would like to find some places to photograph. I have been to the area a few times and have found some good spots but I am always interested in new locations.
I arrive early on Sunday so I can go anywhere that day but I will be in the Santa Clara area during the weeddays so I would like ideas not too far from there. I have been to Purisima Creek a couple of times and am planning on hitting Big Basin on this visit. Is there anything else in the area I shouldn't miss?
Any help on this would be appreciated.

I would suggest the Baylands in Palo Alto since that is nearby but it doesn't seem like your a bird shooter. Henry Coe SP has a lot of oak trees and scenic views. It's is in Morgan Hill, south of San Jose.
