Hi All,
Not posted in a while due to a change of job limiting my ability to get out and take some pictures. Just finished processing my holiday snaps though - all 15Gb worth.
This Lion was taken on the Mara - it was resting after a nice Wildebeest breakfast whilst the more junior members of the pride finished it off.

Hi Dennis,
A good portrait, sharp from front to back and in decent light. Would prefer to see a bit more expression or animation to give it more life. It's nearly there but I am just hunting for that something extra to convey more emotion.

A typical cat expression with superb colour and sharpness throughout. Very good portrait shot.

I know what you mean Andrew. The eyes are not what I would have hoped for - but I think it was dozy after a big meal - it laid down and went to sleep a few minutes after the picture was taken.

it's a beaitiful portrait, sharp as, well composed etc. great light. just shame about the expression.

Hello Dennis
For me its a stunner, it reflects just exactly what it is, a very contented lion.
Best wishes
